Formula used
Daily cost = (cigarettes per day ÷ cigarettes per pack) × pack price. Longer projections extend that daily estimate across the selected period.
Worked example
At 10 cigarettes per day, 20 cigarettes per pack, and 12 per pack, the estimated cost is 6 per day, about 180 per 30-day month, and 2,190 per year.
Make the result more accurate
